Newspaper theme mobile menu and desktop menu not working properly

My website name is https://theeasywisdom.com. On desktop the menu the dropdown menu is not showing drop down items in the home page. While in the category pages it seems to work fine.

Moreover, mobile theme menu is also not working fine and zooms out when clicked. This is completely unacceptable.

I have tried and researched a lot but to no avail. It is really hampering my work and I am getting a lots of complaints form website visitors. I check with my hosting service provider and as per them it is the problem from TagDiv theme, Tagdiv composer.

I have paid a lot for the theme not for this! Sometimes your composer creates a problem and some time there is some other issue. There is no live support. I need immediate solution to this!

I can be reached on akram.imt@gmail.com or +919953456987 in case of any clarifications.

Hello!

First of all, try to do these steps as quickly as possible, so your visitors do not notice the process:

1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)

Also, make sure your WordPress and plugins are up to date.
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Hi Bettina,

I have already sent the mail on contact@tagdiv.com and shared the credentials. I guess Simion C. is handling my case. Please coordinate with him.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Please let me if anything else is needed! I am looking forward to the resolution asap.

Hi Bettina,

I hope you’re well. I’m also having this exact problem – No dropdown menu items show unless I’m on a category page.

I’ll send an email and mention this thread to avoid duplication of the issue.

Many thanks.

Hi Bettina,

Following a suggestion to disable all but TagDiv Plugins and then reactivate the plugins one by one I discovered that the problem I was having was in fact caused by a plugin conflict with a plugin called…..

“Page scroll to id”

Disabling that plugin has fixed the problem for me. Many thanks to Alex at TagDiv for pointing the issue out to me.

Many thanks all.

I also need help with this. Did everything according to their instructions.
The pre-installed templates can be opened with the TagDiv Composer. But not new templates.
It is a fresh WordPress installation and no other plugins are activated. Please help me. Thank you

Excuse me…it is the false category
What was the solution?

I’m narrowing my issue down to a conflict with Wp Rocket caching plugin and the “delay javascript execution” setting.

If anyone from TagDiv is listening, please tell me which files I would need to exclude from this list in order to get things working properly – I feel like I’m nearly there, now my live search initiates when I click on it but the input field stying is incorrect. Here are my exclusions:
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
tdBlocksArray
/analytics.js
js-(before|after)
(?:/wp-content/|/wp-includes/)(.*)

WP exclusion list

Hi,

@ToHoBe So from what you mention, the cloud templates that the demo imported can be edited with the composer and they work, but the ones that you import cannot. Quite an unusual issue. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com so we can take a look at this, provide in the email a link to the respective website, admin login, also cPanel may be needed.

@Alastair Dixon What issue are you having exactly? Is it the issue described initially in the topic? I believe it would also be best to send us an email, so we can see the problem happening or understand what is happening exactly on the website. Then we will try to help sort it out.

Thank you!
