We use plugins that give custom short-codes to pull relevant fields/data. After building out some of our pages, the block that allowed that has seemed to disappear and we can no longer implement them.

You can use the column text element in order to render shortcodes or use HTML codes.
Simply copy the shortcode and insert it in the text area of the column text as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/UEMEsVKog
Column text is an element from tagDiv Composer.

Well, that’s what we were using, but that block has completely disappeared.

You will have to first start looking for a plugin conflict. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also you can try and remove and re-install the tagDiv Composer plugin and please send us a link to your website in order to take a look.

Disabled and enabled plugins and it’s because of WP Bakery. When it’s enabled Column Text disappears, when I disable it, it appears again.

Indeed this seems to be an issue between WP-Bakery and TagDiv Composer. I have informed our developers about this but at the moment there seems not to be any workarounds except to disable WP-bakery.
