Hello,
the problem I’m facing is that in the social widget located on the sidebar, Facebook likes and Instagram followers are not getting updated automatically. The number stays 0. It’s different for Twitter though which is working fine.

First of all, please clear your cache(also from your browser) and try again.
At the moment, we have some problems with the social counter and we hope to fix this in short time because this issue is already on the list for the next updates.
You can also set them manually from the element’s settings until the issue is resolved.

Disconnect your Instagram and Facebook, please execute these steps:
1. disable tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Social Counter
2. uninstall(delete) tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Social Counter
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Social Counter
5. activate tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Social Counter
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Reconnect the Instagram and Facebook account again -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.

Thanks for the response, I’d not actually connected the Facebook page other than adding the page ID to the plugin on the front page editor. Why does it require login authentication to work? Twitter pulls the followers amount fine without any additional authentication.

Hi FrasL, if you do not set the Facebook page and Instagram in the theme pane, then will not work -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/ this is do to the security and privacy that were added to the api that is used to display the followers/likes from those socials (this is since the Instagram and Facebook are part from the same company).

All sorted, sorry I’d assumed the module functioned the same for twitter and was related to the facebook and instagram page feed module blocks.
