NewsMag 5 – Different Sidebar

Hi

I would like to create posts with different sidebars. When I create a post and select the sidebar in the list, only the default sidebar appears, although the theme has several sidebars and one I added to try. Why ? I saw the “cloud” solution in your support ticket, but NewsMag does not provide templates in the cloud, it seems to me.

I just made a test and for me is working correctly, I can make sidebars and assign them without problems https://i.imgur.com/kqRVwJK.png -> https://i.imgur.com/FaiYkom.png
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, make a test only with theme plugins.
Let me know the results!

Yes

I used wordpress.com. Now I use wordpress.org with a fresh install and I can choose the sidebar. But, curiously, only the default sidebar and the new ones created. For example I can’t select Footer 1, but if I create a new sidebar then I can select it later. However it is not a big problem. I create new sidebars and for the moment I have solved.

Hi,
The sidebars named Footer 1, Footer 2 and Footer 3 are specific sidebar and it will apply only for footer columns -> https://i.imgur.com/zhP8hZg.png, that is way those are not display on all sidebars.
