I made a new homepage for my website wandelingen.info: https://www.wandelingen.info/wandelinspiratie-new/
It works fine when I visit this link.
When I set this page as my homepage in customizer > homepage settings the page breaks and part is not shown and the footer is missing as well.
It’s okay above the section SPECIAL: LUXEMBURG. So this section is missing, as well as the rest of the page. And special signs as ë appear as à with two arrows. I deactivated WP Rocket, but that did not help.
Can you help me out?

Unfortunately, we strongly recommend using only one of those plugins with our theme (WP Bakery or tagDiv Composer, but not both)-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
so, if a part of the page is created with tagDiv Composer, and the other with wp bakery then these can interfere.

Thanks for your reply. I was not aware that I used both plugins.
The homepage is built with visual composer as far as I know.
Does this have to do with the travel demo that I installed years ago when I started with Newspaper? And how do I get rid of WP Bakery builder? I don’t see any plugin installed. Thanks!

This page: https://www.wandelingen.info/wandelinspiratie-new/ is made with Visual Composer. It works as you can see. But when I set this page as homepage in customizer > homepage settings, it breaks.
The actual homepage: https://www.wandelingen.info was edited in Visual Composer, but I guess it s base is in the demo ‘travel blog’, which is no longer available in the demos. So I guess this is where the WP Bakery Builder elements are?
My post template (f.e. https://www.wandelingen.info/agatha-christie-in-torquay/) is made in Visual Composer. When I uninstall the travel blog demo, the font settings change and my layout shifts. So my guess is that there still are some elements of WP Bakery Builder here as well. Is that the case?
Plugin is not installed. Travel Blog demo is installed.
Do I have to uninstall the travel blog demo to get rid of the WP Bakery Builder settings or what should I do to solve the problem?

Unfortunately I think this is an issue do to a bad combination. My suggestion would be to redo your Page using only tagDiv Composer. It will be way easier to rebuild your page using tagDiv Composer. I built my homepage again, new page > visual composer.

When a add an extra element, it breaks and shows weird signs for ë.
When I delete this element, it works fine.
