after updating Newspaper theme from 11 to 11.2, my template footer doesn’t work correctly anymore: I was using the “Kid Store” footer template, but it seems to overlap the whole website structure, even if I re-import it with the original template.

What could I do? Should I redesign it from scratch, roll-back to 11 or what?

Hi 2zi0, there were some changes in boxed option. Before in newspaper v11.1 https://i.imgur.com/AYgmehm.png was made a fix to box the entire website, but most of users reported that the want to have control over there header and footer, therefore in Newspaper v11.2 that fix was removed. But do not worry, that still can be done using tagDiv Composer.
You need to edit the homepage and go down to footer section, then select one element from footer to can select the footer zone -> https://i.imgur.com/3qkC7AO.png then clear the gradient and it will display the background color ->https://i.imgur.com/s0p5ORn.png -> after that all you need to do is to set all rows on default -> https://i.imgur.com/gp3hpzt.png then check in css tab, some of row have set margins -> https://i.imgur.com/Kj0ynfR.png
