Community Alternatives to BuddyPress

Hi Folks,

I have checked out BuddyPress, but it’s extremely clunky and very antiquated. Do you happen to know of other plugins which are more up-to-date and fresh?

I am currently looking at PeepSo (it looks great!). What I need is for users to leave comments underneath my news articles (blog posts) and to also allow users to have their own social page with a community timeline.

Is there a plugin which integrates both of these into your theme and my news website? The current WP system of commenting isn’t really what I need so thought I would ask in case you are aware of something.

Hello!

Unfortunately, we do not have other tested plugin with our theme at the moment. But, you can find another one or test PeepSo with our theme if this is more suitable for your needs.
