Hello,

Please provide some screenshots to be able to understand the issue.
Also, what pages do you want to edit?

Thank you!

I could provide a screenshot but it is easier to just say that the green tagDiv Composer edit button that should be there is not there to open the editor. One example is on my “.net/forums” page.. the green editor button is not there at all. So I am wondering if something is wrong..

Hello,

Please let me know how you created that page, if the page is not created with our page builder, then you can’t edit it with tagDiv Composer https://i.imgur.com/Sx72UfD.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Thank you!

The page was created by bbpress when the bbpress plugin was activated. So it should be ok. Maybe I could delete the page and then just recreate it in the wordpress admin backend again? What do you think?

Same thing is happening on the “/members” page that buddypress has created..
hopefully you can patch this in future updates?

Seems like it is the pages that are created by the bbpress plugin as well as the buddypress plugin.
It would be great to see this get fixed in an update since so many people use both of them.

What do you think I should do to make the editor button show on these pages for now?

Hello,

As I said, if the page wasn’t created with tagDiv Composer, you can’t edit it with it.
To edit the forum and members page you need to edit using the settings from bbPress and BuddyPress plugins
-> https://www.wpexplorer.com/bbpress-guide/
-> https://www.csshero.org/customize-enhance-bbpress-forum-easily/
-> https://buddyuser.com/buddypress-customisation-tips

Thank you!

what do you mean edit the settings exactly?
I need the green Edit with tagDiv Composer button to show on those pages..
Please be clear in what I need to do to fix it to make it show on those pages.
Also this is interfering in my other ticket :

https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-add-some-space-between-page-title-and-main-menu-bar/

because since the edit button is not showing I have no way of changing the CSS setting that I need to..
to fix that issue as well.

Hello,

These pages come from plugins and those pages are not customize with tagDiv Composer.
Those plugins are compatible with the theme, but you can’t customize the pages from them with tagDiv Composer.
Also, the custom code needs to be set in Theme Panel -> Custom code -> Custom CSS => https://i.imgur.com/PHMKkJj.png

Thank you!

Ok would it fix itself if I deleted the “/forums” page for example that the bbpress plugin has created and then just re-create the page in the wordpress backend? Would the edit button show then?

Hi R7, I think that here are some misunderstanding.
Like Anamaria said, the bbpress plugin is compatible with our theme -> https://i.imgur.com/zum64Dl.png but this dose not mean, that the forum made with this plugin can be edited using the theme builder (tagDiv Composer) and it is mean that it can be use with our theme without having compatibilities problems. So in case that you want to style the bbpress forums you need to use some custom css, you can check this in plugin documentation https://codex.bbpress.org/bbpress-styling-crib/ also in case that you need help styling it we can help you.
I hope that I was able to explain why you cannot edit with tagDiv Composer on a page made with a plugin.
Thank you!
