Thank you for this template, and I hope you continue to improve it in all aspects (more options, lighter and faster, and better for SEO)
I have been with the staff for more than three years.
But:
1) Do you recommend any plugin to protect the publications. Or rather, do you recommend one? I don’t want to break such a great job.
2) With the option that you have incorporated of content by subscription: Can you make it possible to read at least the first paragraph?
Both points are super important to me.

1. We have on our list to implement a protect option, unfortunately, I do not know when this will be add, sorry! As for a recommendation, we didn’t tested recently any couch plugins, but you can try some of them from here -> https://wptablebuilder.com/best-wordpress-content-protection-plugins/
2. For the moment our content looker it is apply only for all content. Our developers are working to add new futures for this theme plugin, but for the moment reading a part of the content it is not possible, sorry!

The plugin to protect the content: If you are working for a protection code of the newsmag template, have you not tried any external plugin with the template?You say no, but the programming team?. Or has a client told you about one?

Regarding the Opt-In-Builder. Apart from the fact that at least the first paragraph or some text can be read, you could put in the column listing articles, those that are marked with Locker.

I think that there were a few users that inform us about that code or plugin they used, unfortunately, I’m not remembering one right now, but I will search on forum to see if I can find one.
About the opt-in builder, I think that you are referring to an “Show exclusive posts only” filter, if is so this is on our list to be added. An solution for the moment is to set on those post the category exclusive and filter the blocks after that category.

About the theme update, I’m not quite sure, soon will be updated the Newspaper theme, and only after that will be updated the Newsmag theme, but I think that will be sooner than Christmas.
