Custom Recent Comments Widget

Hi,

it would be great, if you create an unique recent comments widget for this great theme. I find only the native WordPress widget, which is totally lame.

Something great looking (with gravatar support), maybe with the option to show the latest Disqus comments too.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion. I’ll add this to our feature request lists and if more people will ask for a feature similar to this we will try to implement it. I suggest you try to use a plugin if the native WordPress widget doesn’t work as you would want it too.

I was going to try the “woo sidebar” widget as we’re still using that on some older sites and it *does* work with Disqus. I have not yet had free brain cell to try that on Newsmag 1.7 yet, but will be doing so soon… was waiting to see what dust settled and if a 1.71 might be pending.
