I have categories with subcategories i.e.
Category: Covid with
Subcategories: Diagnosis, Prediction, Innoculation, Long Covid etc.
In the subcategories pages, I would like to only show the articles that belong in the same subcategory. e.g. in this category https://pathologia.eu/enimerosi/koronaios/long-covid/ I would like to display only the articles for Long Covid
I selected the category filter but it displays all the articles of the main category (Covid) so it misses the point.
How can I restrict it to subcategories?
I am sure I missed something, because I cannot believe that this cannot be done from out of the box functionality.

Edit this page https://pathologia.eu/enimerosi/koronaios/long-covid/ and use a special filter category – current category in order to display the posts from the current category.
If you use the same template for them, then in this mood you won’t have the same posts on each category/subcategory page.

Thank you Bettina, we had done this.
Actully, the journalist was placing articles in multiple categories, so the caterogy tags in the photos were “random”. So if an article was in both Long Covid and Diagnosis, you may see Diagnosis as a label in the subcategory Long Covid. Any ideas on how to prioritise (so that in the subcategory Long Covid you will see the category labels for Long Covid first)?
