Hello @catalingeangos!
It seems that you do not use breadcrumbs on your website. If you use a cloud template, then you should edit the pages and add the element called Breadcrumbs in order to display them on pages. If you do not want breadcrumbs, then you can disable them from the theme panel also.
Thank you!
Sorry, maybe i’m asking some foolish beginner questions. But the breadcrumbs are not active on my website?
see screenshot
I only use cloudtemplate for pages but for articles, i use the classic editor.
I do want breadcrumbs but i thought they are already active on the website. having the options to “enabled” i thought it is enough?
what do i need to do in order to activate them?
thanks
Hello @catalingeangos!
Yes, you use it on posts, but not on the rest of the pages. So, for cloud pages, edit the pages and add or delete the element called Breadcrumbs.
If you do not want breadcrumbs on your posts, disable the option from the theme panel.
Thank you!
Thanks for your prompt answer. Is there any guide on how to add/remove breadcrumbs on cloud pages?
thanks
Hello @catalingeangos!
Yes, please check this guide, it could be more understandable:

Thank you!
Sorry to bother you again and thank you Bettina. So what you telling me is to add the breadcrumbs block on each page of my website where I’m using cloud templates. Im not very skillful in development mode or anything like that but you telling me that will sort my issues? i cant see how adding a breadcrumbs block to lets say “contact page” will sort the issues from the next picture

since i don’t have any skills at all in coding and/or development and my dev is away in holiday, I’ve asked someone to take care of the search console breadcrumbs issue, and after 2 days he said he tried anything to take them off but it didn’t work unless disabling the table of contents and YOAST SEO. I obviously cannot stay without Yoast SEO because i already tried rankmath and is messing up with some pages and i returned back to yoast SEO.
And now I’m going back to my question, how can i remove the breadcrumbs errors from the search console? basically, adding the breadcrumbs block on every page of the website because its already on the blog posts?
like that?
breadcrumbs block
adding this on every page with sort this out?
Hi catalingeangos,
Normally, if you have set the breadcrumbs, there there should not bey problems on search console.
Now, if you wnat to use the yoast breadcrumbs, I think that for this the most simple way will be to remove the actual breadcrumbs and set the one from yoast, for this you should use a shortcode.
Please set the element in page in a column text or text with title in text area -> https://i.imgur.com/2NEeSj4.png and make sure that the option is enabled in yoast ->
For more details, please check the guide from here -> https://yoast.com/help/implement-wordpress-seo-breadcrumbs/ -> https://i.imgur.com/EbEzQAz.png
I hope this will help you!
Thank you. So for my understanding i have to use only one breadcrumbs type, either the one from the yoast SEO, either the one from the theme, so i have to disable one of them? because at the moment there were both activated (theme + Yoast)
So just to show how it is now –
i have the breadcrumbs activated from the theme
and they are also enabled in yoast
i’m just checking to make sure im doing it in the right way.
I have to either
1. keep enabled in yoast and adding the shortcode + disabled them in the theme panel
OR
2. keep enabled in the theme panel and disable them in yoast?
thanks sorry for being a pain 🙂
Hi,
Yes, will be better o use only one of them.
If, I remember correctly, the Yoast will force the theme breadcrumbs even if those are disabled, so I think that will be a better idea to disable the ones from the Yoast SEO.
After that in case that there are no changes, you can try with the one from the SEO plugin and disable the breadcrumbs from the theme.
I hope this will help!
Thanks Calin, i have tried both ways but it still didn’t sort the breadcrumbs issues. Is any way any of your tech guys can take a look over my website? thanks
