I am trying to create a home page with two columns. When I add a row and try to set the column setting, it just adds a new row underneath the one where I want to make two columns. Also, when I put my adsense code in the ad box under custom, my ad doesn’t show.

If you put the AD box code in the theme panel, then you need to select an ad spot: https://www.screencast.com/t/brigM1cj5, otherwise you should place the add code in the ad box, custom ad tab.

Thanks for your reply. I did select the right row and selected the same two column setting you did in the video, but the composer just ads another row. It doesn’t make columns. As for the ads, nothing is working. My header and sidebar ads both. The tags are in the correct spots in the theme panel, but there are no ads showing. I can get the sidebar working with a plugin but the header doesn’t show. Even dropping the code in the custom ad space does nothing.
