I have a problem with featured videos. I have activated the sticky video option but it does not work. The YouTube player is seen as a featured video but when not scrolling with the content. I am using TD Composer.
As a general question. Have you evaluated the possibility that at some point other types of HTML players will be allowed to be embedded as a featured video? Not all of us use YouTube, Dailymotion, etc because we have our own players or work with other more professional hosting platforms. In our case we just need to embed an html for featured video. We don’t want the featured image to be replaced like it is with YouTube.
Hi,
I think that this question is similar with the one from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/td-composer-videos/
Thank you!
Hi Calin. They are two different questions. In this I say that the featured videos do not work in sticky. Only the video is displayed instead of the featured image but it does not become sticky when the content is scrolled. The other question (https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/td-composer-videos/) is another problem that has nothing to do with the featured video.
Hi,
I see, to make the featured video sticky (if this is playing) you need to use the settings from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/GOKLamZ.png
Thank you!
Hello!
Please provide more information about the issue, screenshots or a video and your website link, so I can help you efficiently.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.
Thank you!
Hello excuse me. He had not been notified of the response. I send a screenshot where you can see that despite having the options activated, the sticky video does not work.

Hi,
I just checked the option on my install and for my it is working https://i.imgur.com/8mnOhn2.jpg
Did you did some tests using only tagDiv plugins to make sure that is not interfering something with the theme.
If you want we can check it, for this please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access and we’ll check it.
Thank you!
