Newsmag 5.2 ignores Theme Colours – General Theme Colours

Hi,

After the update to 5.2, the theme colour panels “General Theme Colours” background attribute appears to be ignored on the home page on the frontend. Posts and single pages appear to be unaffected.

I can use custom CSS to bring the background back but would prefer to know if this is just me experiencing this bug?

I have added custom css to the styles.css file within the theme directory to ensure elegant loading. I cannot see any reason why this wouldn’t be working however so any feedback would be great.

Hi hitstart,
I just made a test on my install and for me the color settings are working -> https://i.imgur.com/ILjlybZ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/mmqrhKT.png
Maybe in your case the problem is related to something else (child theme, extra plugin, object cache…).

Thanks for getting back to me! I’ll keep playing around to see if I can find out why this isn’t behaving as it should.
