when the user share the post on their social media platforms the share link opens in a new tab like (-targetBlank) tag is placed in the tag I wanted to remove that (-TargetBlank) tag from the anchor tag so when the user share any post from our website to social media the sharing process occurs on the same page, not in the new window or new tab

There is not only a file. It was made like this from js. Unfortunately, all javascript files from our theme get combined into a bigger, minified javascript file which gets delivered to the client and original files get removed from the package. So, even though you edit the original files, they will not get recompiled at all and so the changes will not take effect to your website.

Do you mean the Mobile theme plugin? If you want to use the responsive version or the mobile pages, then please uninstall the Mobile theme plugin and see the changes.

There’s nothing wrong with my mobile theme plugin, all I’m having issue with is the social share button not opening in new tab on mobile devices

Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
