404 error and admin stuff. Helppp

Hello. I am using original newsmag theme. I’ve been getting 12424 404 errors for about 3 days. I added an example. I am currently using newsmag version 4.7. WordPress 5.9.1. Aside from the 404 error I can’t do admin stuff. I can’t add plugins, add themes, update wordpress. I still show admin in the users section. My site is a travel site. But there are 404 errors related to diet. Or is the original theme infected with a virus? Help Pls

Hi,
I see. So you are using the Newsmag v4.7, this theme version is from 2018, but you are using the last WordPress version. Maybe here is the problem, a theme version that it is 3-4 years old most possible to no longer be compatible with the last WordPress version.
My suggestion is to make a full backup for your website and database and update the theme. If is possible I will recommend to make an update test on subdomain or staging.
You need to update the theme via FTP/cPanel, by replacing the old theme with the new one. After that install the theme plugin tagDiv Composer and the rest of the theme plugins if you use them (social counter, newsletter).
