Header Search Suggestions – Change source index

Hello,

Can the header search bar suggestions be changed to match the search results page? When searching a term in the header the suggestions shown are different than if you use the site search.

We are using the Relevanssi plugin now for indexing the site and would like the header search suggestions to match the regular site search results.

Please access the search page results, edit it with the TagDiv Composer, and check if you have the sort order: Latest and without no limit or offset: https://www.screencast.com/t/8aQXkhkNatrA

Hello,

We are not using a custom TagDiv composer search results template.

Can the search suggestions that show up in the header drop down as you type be changed? We would like it to match the search results page. Right now the two are not displaying the same posts for the same search term.

Hi,
This can be done, but for this we’ll need to check and see what type for search page are you using and we also need an example with different results.
