Newsmag theme is not active

Newsmag theme panel is not active. Theme panel is in grey color and several setting are absent. Button Save setting is absent too.

Hi,

If you have any code custom modification please remove it and if you use child theme also switch to the main theme. Also try this without any plugins active, leave only Visual Composer active, empty cache and check if you still have this issue.

Hi,
Thank you for your quick response.
I installed a fresh copy of WordPress and the theme without code changes. I tried to disable the plug-ins and run in other browsers. It does not work.
Newspaper Theme on the same domain works.
What could be the reason?

I installed a new copy WP and Newsmag Theme to another domain at the same hosting. It does not works.

I installed the Newsmag themes to another domain at the ANOTHER hosting and it work. What problem may be with thу hosting?

Problem solved. I changed the version of PHP 5.3. And now everything works. Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Yes, we the php version could cause this as newer php features don’t work on older versions. The latest update had a php version 5.4 feature in the code and we’ve omitted to test the theme using others versions of php.
The issue comes from line breaking – end of line special characters interpretation in the td_panel_categories.php file.
