Full Width Menus?

Hi there,

The demo of the Newspaper theme has full-width top and main menus. How do I set this up?

I think I must have gone ‘option blind’ as I haven’t been able to find this particular setting. I resorted to clicking the ‘Install Demo’ button (on the Welcome page) – but I’m still getting a boxed layout on my site here: http://www.votivity.co.uk

Hi,

The boxed layout is enabled when you use a background for your site. I’ve inspected your and did noticed a white background set: http://screencast.com/t/IFy2PmFYuUA
Go to theme color in theme’s panel and clear the background color: http://screencast.com/t/KV55tiflSsu
After this your menu should go full width.

Thanks Lucian, that sorted it!

For a future update, I think it could be a good idea just to add a small note next to the Background Color option saying “Selecting a background colour disables full-width functionality” – or something like that.
