Hi all,
I Would like to add the ‘Child menu’ (not sure if that is the name of this option) on my website but I can not see them on the website.
Hope anyone can help me and understand my issue.

Hi,
Please make sure that you have subcategories for the category that you have selected for that block – http://screencast.com/t/Mjc6GLus9X after that set the block like this: http://screencast.com/t/4vtsUiu9D7Y – http://screencast.com/t/FtjtAaMl
Hope this helps!
Hi,
Thanks a lot for this great support!
I understand now how to set it up.
Question 2: I like the Mega menu but mouse-over shows only 5 posts and the arrows are small and grey.
Can you explain me where I can change the arrow color or size?
Hi,
Unfortunately the megamenu was designed to display only 5 posts and for the arrows you can change them using custom css. You can change the arrow image using a background image but you need to customize it with css code. Try something like this in Theme Panel > Custom Css: http://screencast.com/t/swWGyNFdcnvb
.td_block_mega_menu .td-ajax-next-page{
background-image: url('https://cdn4.iconfinder.com/data/icons/iconsweets/50/arrow_right.png')!important;
background-position: inherit;
width: 50px;
height: 50px;
bottom: 5px;
left: 291px;
}
.td_block_mega_menu .td_ajax-prev-page{
background-image: url('http://australianvaluations.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/arrow-left-50x50.png')!important;
background-position: inherit;
width: 50px;
height: 50px;
bottom: 5px;
}
.td-no-subcats .td-ajax-next-page{
left: 72px !important;
}
This is an example you can change those images and change those values like you need. If you don’t have basic css/html experience you ca get someone to help you.
Thanks!
This solution works great, thanks again!
I have a few more issues;
1) I like clean urls without domain.com/category/post and fellow the steps bellow.
But when I click at a subcategory (left side drop-out) I get a 404 error.
Having /category/ in the url of your blog url isn’t very handy for most people, especially those wanting to use WordPress as a non-blog style CMS. By default WordPress shows category archives like so:
http:/yourblog.com/category/quotes/
If you want to remove /category/ from the url, follow these two steps:
1. Go to Settings >> Permalinks and select Custom and enter: /%category%/%postname%/
2. Next set your Category Base to /.
Save it and you’ll see your URL changed to this format:
http:/yourblog.com/quotes/
2 Mega menu categories at left side (drop out) are are 2 times visible.

3 The load more button shows articles several times when I press the button. Only one time is necessary.
4 Where can I change the size of the breadcrumbs?

Hope you can help me again.
Kind regards,

Hi,
1. I also tested this and unfortunately it doesn’t work. Any way using dot to category base is not a clean solution as I don’t know exactly how wordpress code for permalinks is created, so it can work for a while and when something is changed by wordpress it can stop working. I suggest to find and try a plugin for this like(I did not tested but you can try it) – https://wordpress.org/plugins/fv-top-level-cats/
2. When you make a parent category megamenu(with subcategories), the subcategories are added automatically so please remove subitems(added by you manually) form Appearance > Menus: http://screencast.com/t/sz8NAV3z
Example: http://screencast.com/t/qul3EFrmd – http://screencast.com/t/ZvQU4tN3Okip
Please read documentation(notes): https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-the-megamenu/
3. Unfortunatelly theme doesn’t have an option for this. The load more button will be active until the last posts are showing the become inactive: http://screencast.com/t/gTYpdls8Qd You see can change on block’s settings to show more post(limit posts number) so the load more button be active only once and try to find a solution that help you to achieve this.
4.For the moment this can be done only via custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css: http://screencast.com/t/RPmYDFz6XU – http://screencast.com/t/4E4fQwcfs
.entry-crumbs{
font-size: 15px;
}
Thanks!
Thanks a lot for the help and solutions!
It works great.
I dare not use the plugin to retrieve category out because I read here about bad experiences, any idea about the SEO? It is otherwise possible to translate the text ‘category’, if so where can I do that?
Many thanks for the breadcrumb CSS solution, but I also mean to change the size of the blue breadcrumb blocks; http://www.mupload.nl/img/5voeijackfl.png.
Kind regards,
Hi,
According to Yoast SEO this in not “that” important so not sure how it will affect your SEO but you can use WordPress SEO plugin to strip the category base using this setting: http://screencast.com/t/kfTOpl1XsBP4
If you wish to translate/change it you can just change the category base from your permalink settings section:
* http://screencast.com/t/xcvyNDSm6B4
result: http://screencast.com/t/RHiKNFhT7ZT
For those category labels/tags you need to use custom css to change their size as the theme doesn’t have an option for it. Use your browser’s developer tools and inspect the elements to find their css and later it as you like: http://screencast.com/t/pVc3l7Wzx
Thanks
Hi,
I have another question but cannot find the solution in the forum.
The big slider at the front page is gone and I can not get him back.
Anybody an idea how to get it back like the demo? My settings: http://postimg.org/image/f9clpfxnn/
I also have some styling questions; http://s22.postimg.org/q8ycq3uxd/img3.png
Please see the image with arrows;
1) I use the myEventON plugin but would like to markup the title of the widget in the same style as the theme.
How can I make the title section (August + arrows) like the screenshot?
2) It look likes I have many different fonts and would like to use just 1 or 2 fonts in the website. What is the default font and where can I change the font of arrow 2, 4 and 5?
3) Is it possible to show a short excerpt by the posts under the title (arrow 3)
4) If I click at the ‘load more’ button at mobile/tablet the content remains grey and is not show up.
5) How can I remove the number of posts by arrow 5?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Please make sure that you use Big Slide properly on one row, I have checked your site and seems that you use it in two columns: http://screencast.com/t/MSuAZn0H5ab Also if does not appear please filter another category, just to see if it works.
1. Please try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom CSS: http://screencast.com/t/q22b4NdUk4
.ajde_evcal_calendar .calendar_header {
border-bottom: 2px solid black;
}
.ajde_evcal_calendar #evcal_head.calendar_header #evcal_cur {
background-color: black;
color: white !important;
font-size: 22px !important;
padding: 0 5px 1px;
}
2. Please use Chrome inspector tool to inspect and change the font via custom css: http://screencast.com/t/burWdY67 Also for post title font(tagdiv blocks) use option from Theme Panel > Custom Typography – http://screencast.com/t/fIch5iU7uLyj and for other widgets you will need to change that via custom css – http://screencast.com/t/C8o68GcjNLsl
For load more button font you will have to use css: http://screencast.com/t/BsYdtEL55
.block-child-cats a{
font-family: Roboto;
}
.widget_categories ul li a{
font-family: Ubuntu;
}
.td-load-more-wrap {
font-family: Roboto ;
}
3. Please edit a module that use excerpt, take a look how is made and copy excerpt to the module that you want to add it – http://screencast.com/t/d0fagpyMjF also maybe you will need some css customization.
4. Please try this without any plugins active, leave only Visual Composer plugin enabled, also clear cache an check if you still have this issue.
5. Please use this custom css for this: http://screencast.com/t/jhsNTU3p
.home .widget_categories ul li a .td-cat-no{
display: none;
}
Thanks!
Hi Alin,
