I am a very low level knowledge website builder, and have used TagDiv Newspaper for some time due to its ease. I have found the need over time to use the Newspaper child theme so that I can add code to functions etc.
My question is this, I presume when i update my theme that the core theme updates, but does the child theme?
If not do I need to update the child theme manually to reflect changes to core Newspaper files ?

Hello,
The child theme is not overwritten by the update. If you’ll have some custom modifications directly in the theme files, then better save the code and replace it after the update -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
