Some of the articles have 2 categories, one is Hot News the other categories is various topic. Having Hot News category is to make the posts appear on the featured area.
For example I publish an article about Financial, then I select Financial as category, but at the same time I want this article to appear on featured area therefore I also select Hot News, what I want to appear is Financial category in recent post in Flex Block 1.
But the problem is the Flex Block 1 that I use to show the recent post displaying the HOT NEWS category, what I want to display is the post category.

As you can see the category that appears is not the one I want.

What I exactly want is to show the real post’s category NOT the Hot News category on the recent posts.
Your solution making the posts showing from one category only on recent post (Flex Block 1), that’s not I wanted, what I want is in the recent posts showing all the posts from various categories not only from one category, and not showing the Hot News category.
FYI: I have about 20 categories, I want to show them all according to the publishing time on recent posts of homepage, and I want to exclude the Hot News category but that doesn’t mean the posts under the Hot News & Other categories also be excluded, as I mentioned earlier there are posts having two categories one is Hot News for the articles to appear on featured area and other are categories of the post.
I just want the published articles that appear on Recent Pots area to show the real categories not the Hot News Category

Unfortunately, if the posts contain the category you wish to hide, all posts with that category will be hidden, even if they have other categories.

Is there a trick to choose the category to appear on the recent post Flex Block 1.

The two posts that are pointed with arrow, each of it has Financial and Politic beside Hot News, can I show the Financial and Politic category instead of Hot News category, so that posts will be better presenting their contents?

Unfortunately, there isn’t an option to display two categories.
You can set the custom label in the posts editor-> https://i.imgur.com/gTtAQRv.png and this will be displayed for Flex Block and Big Grid Flex -> https://i.imgur.com/3Uop58r.jpg
