I’m nut 10% sure, but it is possible that this problem to be because you are using the latest WordPress version with an old theme version.
My recommendation is to make a full backup for the website and to update the theme. There are many chance that after this the problem to be resolved.

I updated PHP and Newsmag to latest. Still the same error messages appear.

The simple solution to resolve those errors is to install the classis widgets plugin.
Now if you want to use the new widgets system we need to investigate the problem and see from where is coming.
