Excerpt under title on slider

Hi guys,
I cannot figure out how to call excerpt under title in the slider.

I tried to solve it similar to big slider like here but it doesn’t work.

Any ideas?

Hi,

That solution works but you will need to customize it with css code, please use inspector tool and see if excerpt is added there: http://screencast.com/t/9WJcsURKex
If you don’t have basic css/html experience I suggest to hire a profesional to do this for you. We would have gladly made it for you but for the moment we cannot offer custom work, sorry for this.

thanks for the reply, however I want to put this on the slider, not big slider 🙂

And it outputs error: Fatal error: Call to a member function get_excerpt() on null in /wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/modules/td_module_slide.php on line 27

Hi,

The Slider block was not designed to display excerpt, but you can do custom modification if you need it. After you have added the excerpt function in the file, call excerpt like this: http://screencast.com/t/KdQdzdfUrQb so you will have a class to customize with css code: http://screencast.com/t/Ah8xVbyCR
