Membership layering seems to kick members back to a wordpress login and many are getting confused as to why the login is not functioning correctly. I add another plugin for subscription levels since I could not get this working correctly. Now I have multiple logins to use the entire site. Am I missing a URL patch or link to bypass wordpress all together and login to the site through a front end plugin? Was this done incorrectly? I even coded the wp-config.php file set to my current URL because if they could just logout and be sent to homepage would stop them from logging in to wordpress and not my site directly. Need some guidance, thanks in advance.

I see. Did you tried the theme membership plugin? Now, the Newsmag theme has a free membership plugin, the opt-in builder -> https://i.imgur.com/gq8zQas.png and this plugin offer all the requests that you mentioned, frontend login, redirect to the frontend ..
If you do not want to use it and all you want is to redirect the users after they login to a specific page, then you can do it using a redirect plugin.
