Hi there,
I would really like to change the 5-stars rating on my page to 6-stars, as the latter is the common rating system in my country and all other media use the 6-scale in the industry I work in. Is it possible to add the 6th star? If so – how? I love the way how the elements on the website display the ratings, so I really hope I don’t have to use external plugin for that
Hello @filipg!
Please provide more information about what exactly you need to achieve and your issue, including screenshots or a video, and your website link.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
I apologize for lack of further explanation 🙂 Here are the screenshots and more detailed problem description.
As we have it right now, we only have a possibility to rate the event with up to 5 stars (https://d.pr/i/LjaWj6 → https://d.pr/i/XcSRPL).
And as I described before – we need this rating to increase to 6-scale as that’s how we rated with few hundred other articles (before moving to this template), as the rating system in our industry is demanding 6 stars…
Hope it explains the issue 🙂
Hello @filipg!
Unfortunately, this will require custom work which is not covered by the support team.
For customization and other services you can contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Thank you so much for understanding!
Filipg
When it comes to stars, every review plugin is using 5 stars option. But you can use Let’s Review plugin where you can switch it to numbers and then use 1-6 numbers. It also offers better design and it’s more customizable.
Hopefully one day tagdiv will make their own awesome review plugin because the world needs one good one. There are only few review plugins today and most of them are horrible. Let’s Review one is so far best what you can find today.
Hello @filipg!
A shortcode can be inserted in our theme only by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. “Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
If the template where you insert the shortcode from an extra plugin is global, then this modification will be applied on every page that has that template. Otherwise, you must duplicate the template, rename it, make changes to it, and assign it to some pages.Â
Thank you!
