Has anyone here ever had a problem with the text editor in newspaper? mine hasn’t shown up since I installed it.

Hi,
Can you provide a screenshot? Do you refer to the text html editor?
When you edit a page it will show up when you switch to Classic mode – http://screencast.com/t/da1Mqmgxk but when you add/edit a post it should be displayed – http://screencast.com/t/432WZA96jSv
Please provide more details about this.
