Hello, I want my homepage excerpt to show the text before the <–readmore–>. As it is by default, it ignores the Read More option and shows the text by default.
Can you please help?
Is there any way we can change the loading image?

You can change excerpt length for modules/blocks from Theme Panel > Excerpt section: http://screencast.com/t/Kpft6jiUb1i
Module 15 take the entire content of the articles and you can use it on loops (category page, latest articles,blog..) and this will show content until read more tag is added. You can see this on our demo blog: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_classic_blog/

Hello Alin, that works on Module 15, I can easily limit the excerpt and it works, but I’m using “Block 11”. I can limit the excerpt on the text but it completely ignores my “Read More” button. I want to have posts with just 3 or 4 words, then a Read More button for the rest of the article.
Is there any work around?

Like I said if you use read more tag in post – http://screencast.com/t/2zvOJDZo it will apply only on module 15 that display the entire content of the post.

Block 11 doesn’t display read more button you have to use block 12 if you want read more button. Please take a look on our demo:

I want my homepage to just show the text: “Article text, lorem ipsum sit dolor.” and the rest of the post should show everything. Did you understood? Sorry for my English. I want to enable the <!–more–> shortcode, it just doesn’t work. Your theme complete ignores it and always shows all the text on the homepage until the “Excerpt” limit.

@DarkCrash that is what I’m trying to explain you, the read more tag works only on module 15 that takes the entire content of the post (it not take excerpt) and it is used to limit that content. The tagdiv blocks display excerpt that can be controlled (length) from Theme Panel, they don’t get the content of the articles, so cannot be limited by tag. Hope this make sense!

Hi, I understood what you said, thank you.
I’ve changed the Block from 11 to 12 so now I’m using the Block 12 module.
The readmore button appeared but the readmore tag is still ignored by the theme. It just cuts the text according to the excerpt lenght.
I’ll find another way and try a possible fix.
