I have this issue too. Very frustrating, cannot manage this site through my usual tools. Today, my site is a mess of shortcode, and tagdiv composer shows to be active but not installed. Any ideas?

Everything depends a lot on which plugins you use, if you have security plugins like Wordfence, Sucuri, WP Rocket, they can block the update process and then the plugins remain un-updated, they don’t install and activate.

I’have the same plugin (WP Rocket and Secupress) on a lot of website and I have never this kind of problem… Just with your theme.
