Can't post comments, receiving message "Captcha Verification Failed"

My website has a comment section per post. People are required to enter their full name and email in order to leave a comment. There is a box that needs to be checked to save their name and email for future comments. If the person adds the required information and checkmarks the box (save name & email) they are not able to post the comment and get a message that says “Captcha verification failed”. This only happens if they check that box.
