When I paste an article in the edit window the text is white on a white background – cannot see the words to edit without highlighting or using another program

Can you provide a screenshot as I’m not sure what you mean. Do you have this issue in backend? – http://screencast.com/t/sQHeXYegHSv
Also you can check this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, also empty cache. Maybe it is a plugin conflict. Let me know!
