adding html link to footer

Hi guys,

I was wondering how to add or edit the links in the footer. I tried to add a standard html link to the “Contact” link in Footer/General/Column Title/Title Text but it doesn’t work. What am I doing wrong? I’m using the standard Amsonia template.

Hello,

If you have an HTML code, you can use Raw HTML.
Also, the edit content is opened?

Thank you!

OK. Thank you. I finally figured out the problem. I got the link to work but the problem is I can’t see the word Contact in the footer.
It’s invisible.

I think the problem is that links are pre-coded to be dark blue which almost exactly matches the color of the footer in the Ansomia sub-theme. As a result “Contact” is invisible. It goes to the Contact form when you click on the blank blue area but it’s unreadable.

This is odd because the Title color is set to a default Ansomia off-white. But as soon as I type in the HTML link code, “Contact” changes color from off-white to dark blue — which is also the footer color!

How can I change the link color from dark blue to off-white?

And just to be clear, the linked text is dark blue even when I am not hovering over it or clicking on it. It’s dark blue all the time.

An additional thought: the issue is specific to the Column titles in the Footer, and not the other text fields below. Those work fine as they were pre-coded to accept hmtl for links.

One workaround would be just to delete the Column titles and put a contact link in the other text fields List area below. But I would still be curious how to change the color of the links in order to edit the Column titles just so I know how to do it.

Hello,

If you add the link in the column title you can change the color here https://i.imgur.com/LTsqMav.png
Also, please provide some screenshots with your settings.

Thank you!

Thank you, Anamaria! That’s very helpful. I don’t know why I didn’t see that before.

Another question I have about the footer involves the social media icons. How can I link those so they take the user to the website Twitter and Facebook pages? Currently, there is only a “#” in the those fields. I tried adding the URLs but I get a 404 page because the links include my website URL. If I only want to link to the website Twitter page, how do I do that?

Thanks again.
Have a great day.

Hello,

Please make sure the link contains the https://www.
The social icons from the mobile menu are coming from the Theme Panel -> Social/Apis -> Social Networks -> https://i.imgur.com/kKYIECB.png remove/edit them after your needs.

Thank you!
