We’ve recently purchased the Newspaper theme. Because we’re upgrading from an existing WP site with a different theme, I’m trying to test the theme in staging before activating it on our website. If I activate our license on the Staging website, will it void my license when I try to activate on the main WP site?

You can use a license key for one single product. We’ve introduced the Manage License System, which can be seen in the 11.4.3 version of the theme in Newspaper -> My license. You can assign or unassign a domain from there. One can be used for staging and one for your live website. That message appears if you try to unassign a domain so often, so you need to wait until that date.
According to Envato license terms, a theme can be used for a single end product (website):
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular
