I’ve switched to a different theme and don’t have this issue, but when I add any image to a post, I cannot use an ‘ or a – in the caption. When I do, it renders a funny number instead of the character.

The caption displays on the back-end editor correctly, but not on the public url when logged out.

Try again by using the Gutenberg editor. In order to have it active, disable the Classic Editor.

I tried this again with no luck. I disabled the classic editor and have the same non desired results with the Gutenberg editor. Any additional help would be appreciated. No no punctuation is working at all and I’m not sure what to do.

Please make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
