Can't change certain fonts for Coffee Blog template

Hi there

I have installed the Coffee Blog template (with demo content) and I have been able to change most of the fonts (headings, menu items, etc.); however, I can’t seem to change the default “excerpt” text font for the home page (see screenshot) as well as the Author box font (see screenshot).

I have tried changing the font in every place I can think of, including the theme panel’s theme fonts section and via the tagDiv Composer with no luck: it still uses the blog’s default fonts. I’d prefer to avoid hard coding it via CSS of possible.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (site link).

I was able to change the author box font successfully but, unfortunately, the tagdiv composer doesn’t work for the excerpt text on the home page. Even if I change all the fonts to the same sans-serif (Lato) it still shows the default serif font (Brawler): see screenshot. Not sure what is going on. I can share login details with you privately if you want to inspect?
