Tap targets are not sized appropriately – SEO recommendation from WPMU

Hi.

We’re using TagDiv’s Newspaper theme along with WPMU’s SmartCrawl Wizard SEO. It is showing a few errors that I’m passing along here in case you need them. Also attached is the screenshot if that is helpful:

Tested Device: Mobile
Audit Type: Responsive audits

Failing Audit: Tap targets are not sized appropriately

Status: Tap targets are not sized appropriately.
Targets that are smaller than 48 px by 48 px or closer than 8 px apart fail the audit.

Overview:
Interactive elements like buttons and links should be large enough (48x48px), and have enough space around them (8px), to be easy enough to tap without overlapping onto other elements.
Many search engines rank pages based on how mobile-friendly they are. Making sure tap targets are big enough and far enough apart from each other makes your page more mobile-friendly and accessible.

Thanks.

Hello,
Normally these should be solved using tagDiv Composer and setting the padding/margin and size for each individual viewport on each element separately – https://i.imgur.com/JBbUZor.png (each element with the left border can be edited per viewport).
Similarly, for the mobile version, you can also use mobile template pages – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Thank you!
