How to add new block in Footer

Hi
I was going to add DMCA badge code in footer section after the Popular category but not able to do it. Also as per the document, the three block footer is showing on live site but not showing in widget section in footer block.

Note: Tried already added from widget section, but no success.

Please help.

you should select another footer template in theme panel, then you can add more and custom blocks wherever you want in sidebar Footer 1, 2 and 3. In this case you need Footer 3 sidebar

Thanks for this, almost the problem solve but i am not able to add the “Even More News” style on that middle section, all tagdiv block showing big thub images.

Can you please help on this?

Go to theme panel and the footer settings — switch from default to the version where the first column has default items but second and third column are blank.

[ X ] [ . ] [ . ]

You can then put your own content into cols 2 and 3 from the appearance > widgets

Hi Chris, I have already added changed the Footer type and successfully add own content. But now the thing is that, How to put the middle section of post list like the below image

You can check my website’s current footer section, so you can get idea, what I want.

Well, you need to deactivate the default element created by the theme — the popular category item …

so if you *do* actually switch the footer template; then both your second and third columns should now be EMPTY!

Then in the appearance > widgets, you will add a module/block for the popular category, then add a text widget below that in “Footer COL 3” just like normal sidebar.

Basically you should be TURNING OFF the automatic stuff in the second/third column — they should be blank… then you need to put in the stuff you want in both second and third column manually.

Yes, you don’t seem to be able to read my help … as noted in my first reply.

YOU NEED TO RECREATE THAT USING ONE OF THE WIDGET CONTENT BLOCKS INCLUDED WITH THE THEME.
