I was browsing through the forum to find out if the theme is WP-Multisite compatible. I found few details but some things were not clear to me. My Newspaper 12 license is assigned to one domain, let’s assume (domain.com) and I want to create a multi site based on region like US/Australia and Germany.
There are two ways by which wordpress multisite can be created –
1. We can create wordpress multisite in following method –
us.domain.com
au.domain.com
de.domain.com
2. Alternatively we can create the wordpress multisite in another method –
domain.com/us
domain.com/au
domain.com/de
Now, as far as my Newspaper License is taken against the primary “domain.com” using wildcard entry in DNS, can I create the multisite network as mentioned above in method 1 (us.domain.com)? or do you think as its creating subdomain, therefore separate licenses might be required?
Alternatively,
I believe that with the second method approach (domain.com/us) where the primary domain remains intact, we expand the multisite through subfolders. This logic looks like will work but i want to confirm the same with you.
Please let us know which one will work best and if any features or functionality limitations that might not work in multisite as whole or based on the approach we choose.

If you use it on subdomains that are a part of your product or wp multisite, you could use the same key.
