I have problem with pagespeed of mobile version of both fritzenergy.com and alltraxx.com. I have not installed mobile plugin from tagdiv as I do not like layout.

1. Can you tell me what would be the walkaround to get a better pagespeeds.
2. I inserted the Single Post Reading time counter. What is the calculation variable behind the result and the location where we can change the variables?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

1. For mobile pagespeed what we can do is recommend you the mobile theme plugin and mobile page template – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/, then you can use tagDiv Composer to adjust the mobile layout, set smaller thumbs for blocks ….

2. The code used for the reading tie elements on this file wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single/tdb_single_reading_time.php and the variable that holds the value is the $post_reating_time_data

Thank you!

Hi Calin, thanx for the reply, though I have not tried it, it seems it will solve my problem.

Likewise, I have couple of more issues with both of sites running with Newspaper theme.

1. Fritzenergy.com and alltraxx.com seems to have problem in serving adsense in-article ads. Both sites have auto ads enabled. In Alltraxx, I have tried the plugins deactivating and activating method though some of the ads like article top ads started to show, still in article ones are not being shown.
2. Alltraxx.com the background image on the homepage has problem loading:
a. The bg image has problem loading, let me know the preferred resolution for
it.
b. Even if the main BG image is loaded, it is blurred and seems dirty,
though the actual picture is crystal clear.
C. Alltraxx.com have infinite scrolling for articles enabled. Featured
image on the second article seems to have zoomed in and totally unclear.

Please let me know if the login credentials are required and the way to send it.

Thank you so much.

Hi dennispillai,

1. If you are using auto ads, then you need to set the code only once in the theme panel and this will display the ads randomly on the website, which is considering the AdSense algorithm. Also, if the post/article is sorted is possible that no ads to be displayed.
My recommendation, in this case, is to use standard ads (basic ads/standalone ads) – https://developers.google.com/adsense/host/adunits

2. I believe you are referring that the image is blurred – https://i.imgur.com/RyQOTXf.jpg this is because the image is not set in full size when was set – https://i.imgur.com/VWb7lSV.jpg
The problem with the featured image I believe appears only when you are not logged in and the cache is applied, if so, then it can be related to some css or js that is minified.
If is them same when you are logged in, what I can suggest is to replace the featured BG image with the featured image, indeed that effect that you have right no will no longer exist, but this problem with unclear images should be resolved.

Thank you!

thanks Calin, the main image problem has been solved.

I have manually inserted the ad codes, so will see how it pans out.

This point “The problem with the featured image I believe appears only when you are not logged in and the cache is applied, if so, then it can be related to some css or js that is minified.

This I did not understand, just for clarity, i want to say it is only seen in the second article below any articles when using the infinite scrolling option.

Hi dennispillai,
“This I did not understand, just for clarity, I want to say it is only seen in the second article below any articles when using the infinite scrolling option.”
My question was if this problem occurs when you are logged into the site as an administrator or if you just visit the site without being logged in.
Thank you!

Hi Calin, Sorry for the late response.

I checked in logged-in and incognito mode, both have same problem. I tried to disable the infinite scroll and reenabled it and also tried to deactivate all the plugins, but the featured image remain zoomed in.

If there is an option to disable the featured image on the infinite scroll articles, that would also be fine for me.

Please let me know what else we can do here.
