Made my first post. I want to post in the category I selected. I made a post and selected the category I wanted the post to show in. I went to bottom of post and chose category from the “Primary Category” section and from the category section of the side but the post is showing in all categories.
How can I get the post to only show in the category I selected?
It’s not in all categories; it’s only in the categories you chose.
You need to customize the blocks on home page to only show posts from specific categories like “sports” or whatever.

You have to filter your articles using a different category for your blocks from block settings – http://screencast.com/t/3jZ7SkjLN5 as if you set to filter posts from all categories it will appear on all blocks.
Another solution will be to enable Unique articles feature for your page or use offset: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles-and-offset-newspaper/ If you have pagination unique articles doesn’t work.
