Authors cannot upload images using tagdiv "Form Content".

Authors cannot upload images using tagdiv “Form Content”. Text is uploaded correctly, and authors can upload images from inside WordPress admin fine.
Any advice?

Hello @central!

I suggest you install, for example, the Members—Membership & User Role Editor Plugin.
Check the author rules and allow media upload. The button in the form content should appear for that author.

Hello.
The button is visible, the problem is images cannot be uploaded they give an error “Sorry, you are not allowed to attach files to this post.”

The author already has media upload permission checked because the author can perfectly upload images from inside wordpress. The problem is with the tagdiv form that doesn’t allow the author to upload images

Why is the tagdiv form using different media upload permissions than wordpress?

Please check the rules with that plugin. You should be able to do that.
