Hello
we are using your “newsmag” template in version 4.2 on the beppegrillo.it site. We will need to upgrade the server to PHP version 8. Consequently, we would also like to upgrade the template to version 5.2.3. Is this fully compatible with PHP 8? Can the upgrade of the template to version 5.2.3 be done directly on version 4.2? Are there any critical issues to keep in mind in this step?

Hi,
Yes, the Newsmag v5.3.2 should work ok with php v8, but it was not tested with php v8.1 and v8.2
Before updating the theme, please make sure that you have a full backup for it. After that you can update the theme using ur guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/
