I created a custom post type and have category as taxonomies. And then I created different categories but I was unable to assign different templates for each new category for the custom post type. Can you please help me to achieve this?

I was asking for this for Custom Post Type (CPT). For like, I created a custom post type, “Music”, with “Music Categories” as a taxonomy. And inside “Music Categories”, I created different taxonomy called, “Melody”, and “Rock”. Now I want to select different post designs for these 2 categories, “Melody”, and “Rock”.
Can you please guide me on this? Note: I didn’t mean a default post/blog post for this.

The CPTs are not simple categories, and the taxonomies are not simple posts.
Unfortunately, we do not have a setting to choose an individual template. You can only have a global template. They are working as simple cloud page templates.

In addition to the above, how can we create a conditional template design for the Custom Post Type? Like, if one category contains an “X” custom field, display it, and hide it for other categories and vice versa.
