Problem with removing white space between VC elements in frontpage

Hi tagDiv team,

I can’t seem to figure out why my frontpage has white space between visual composer elements/blocks as shown in the screenshots.
This seems to just happen on my main page of the website. problem does not occur in other pages on the site.
I’ve tried to recreate a new frontpage with new frontpage template.. but problem persists.

Thanks in advance!

I think you need to turn off the top-border for that row or module — when you have “top border” set to on, it naturally puts some space above border so you’d have space when the preceeding module had no bottom border.

To turn off the top-border for that row, should I go into “edit this row” tab — > “design options” — > and change the border to “0” for top-border?

I’ve tried changing the row options, and the module options to “no border” but the problem still persists..

Here’s what I see on the frontpage http://www.goproace.com/

Thanks so much

Hi,

I have checked your site and seems that you have managed to remove the border: http://screencast.com/t/rB3c7HKc83ZOhttp://screencast.com/t/YdySpI8O

Thanks!

Hey Alin = )

Yes – the border got removed, but the space between the module above and the one below is still apparent.
When I demo the newsMag theme created by divTag it doesn’t have that extra space.

In the screenshots that you’ve provided, is it possible to adjust the length of the area located at where the arrows are pointing to?

Thanks again!

oops and I really did mean to write “tagDiv”, instead of “divTag” … apologies because tagDiv is the better of the two!

You might be able to use some “negative” spacing for the desktop viewport for that “block” … to simply add some custom CSS for that ?

Hi,

You have there margin bottom to the row – http://screencast.com/t/gL9VUEYGxop please check row settings and see if you have margin there and try to set it at 0 – http://screencast.com/t/bhd6PiXzpiK

Thanks!

You guys truly rock!
I spent hours looking over the borders and padding – but margins flew over my head.

Thank you Chris
Thank you Alin

Marking it as [resolved]
I finally made the frontpage the way I wanted it to look.

Cheers!
