Custom Fields not working properly when saving/publishing the CPT

I have a website that allows the users to publish games.
I have created a CPT “Games” that have some Custom fields (the sames that appears on the page i mention in here) that are displayed only when the user selects the options “System / Platform” – https://gamingnovato.com/submit-and-edit-games/

What I noticed is that after the user marks those options in system platform, when he publishes the post from the front-end, it does not display the values saved. I need to go to the wordpress editor and click save again in order for the fields to display.

Hello,

I did a test, and for me works -> https://www.screencast.com/t/2UbHO4JtD.
Please let me know if your fields are required for page -> https://i.imgur.com/KxnuvWL.png or if you added them using the custom field element.
Can you please provide a video?

Thank you!

Sorry, totally missed your response.
Here’s what I’m doing.

1 – I’m creating and saving the post via front-end form.
2 – When I edit the post via front-end it displays all the taxonomies that I saved.
3 – When I click to view the post I created, it’s only showing the fields saved as “Text Area” and “Radio buttons”. Taxonomy fields are not being displayed.
4 – If I go to Admin and click “Update” the post is updated. Visiting the post again it now displays the taxonomy fields.

Hi,

I see it.
I think I know what the problem is, the cache plugin does not recognize the update or publish command to clear the cache, like the update button in WordPress. But now, what I can say is to do a test without the plugin cache and see if it appears.
Please let me know the results.

Thank you!

Hello. Tried everything and still does not work. Disable cache plugins, purge cache, nothing…
The only option that continues to work is if I go inside the wordpress editor and click to publish there. That way the fields displays as I mention in the begining.

Hi,

So you use there the Post Form Taxonomies, right? And those are all taxonomies?
I did a test and for me works. Do you use CDN? Can you do a staging website? I want to investigate why doesn’t work for you.

Thank you!

Hello Ana
I can give you temporary access to the website so you can test it by yourself if you want. How can we do it? Via email?
Yes, the fields that aren’t appearing are from the Post Form Taxonomies field.
I do use siteground and their have the CDN automatically configured for me. Which is from cloudflare.
