Hi, I use the Newsletter plugin widget on two places on my website — the sidebar and the footer. I have customized it to match my design. But there’s a problem!
Currently, when you enter the email, you are redirected to the Mailchimp signup form which shows an error saying you need a First name — I assume this can be fixed if we feed the form a first name.
Is there a way to include a First name input column above the email address? I tried tweaking a Mailchimpo signup code to match my current design but I couldn’t get it to work. I think adding a First Name could simplify things?

Did you add the code to add the first name to be required? Our plugin has a standard structure. If you want to check the code for newsletter, you can try to set the code in column text or text with title => https://www.screencast.com/t/N6rPZvAa The shortcode/code is automatically saved.

Sorry, I do not get it. I tried to add my Mailchimp code to the both the code in column and text with title, but I think it will take some customization to achieve the same look. As I can see here, you have set the custom field for the first name; our plugin is specially designed to show only the email field.
So, if you want to have the same design, you need to use custom code css.
