can't activate theme (hangs) or auto install plugins (ajax error)

Hi, brand new site with nothing on it, on siteground, server cache off, no other plugins on site.

When I install the latest version 12.3, it errors when installing the plugins.
tagDiv Composer : Ajax error
tagDiv Cloud Library: Ajax error
An error occurred and we could not finish the process. Please manually update the plugins.

And if I manually do it, then it works, but license doesn’t activate to install demo’s, it just hangs. Any ideas?

random, works now I updated to https while I was waiting. Will leave this up for others with same issue
