WordPress update 4.2.1 and Open Graph

I don’t know why, but since the last update of WordPress (I think so) my open graph images stopped working in new posts. Old posts are working and does scrape the image, but on new posts I can’t manage to show them.

I used the debug tool of facebook and no success…

Has anybody experienced a similar problem in the last week or days?

I would appreciate some help.

Hi,

What error do you get in facebook debug tool?
Please check og: data in your page source. Also we recommend to use this plugin WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin because is the best for SEO as the theme doesn’t output automatic the og: meta data information.
You can also check this without any plugins, leave just Visual Composer and Seo by Yoast active, clear cache and then check if you still have this issue.

But i am using plugin for social sharing, i believe this happening for the default newspaper theme also??

@saibharath I see that you use the default social share, but yo have also to use a plugin to set og: meta as the theme doesn’t do that. We use Seo by Yoast also on our demo. Just install it and activate the meta data: http://screencast.com/t/9CBtZm0bESiP

Yes I have SEO by Yoast installed since last year that I bought the theme. It just got messed up since last update of WordPress, I have everything Up to date (theme and plugins). I have not installed any new plugins that could affect the seo yoast plugin because they are the same since many time ago.

I just noticed it this week, I thought it was something of my configuration on new posts but I have created more new posts and it’s the same.

I would appreaciate help because i post all my recent posts to facebook and twitter.
