Set primary category in non-clickable menu

Hi,
I would like to know how to set the main menu categories as “unclickable”. Let me explain better: as you can see in this screenshot https://ibb.co/DzYHMtc there is the primary category “FILM” and below all the sub-categories. Here, I would like that only the subcategories can be opened (clicked) while I would like “FILM” (the primary category) not to be clickable.
I hope I explained myself. I add for a better understanding: all categories that have sub-categories must be fixed and not clickable. Only subcategories that appear under the main category can be opened.
